Crocodile Watching in the Night |

 Crocodiles are abundant on Sierpe river, even though they avoid human contact. For this we have designed a night time tour that allows you to enjoy viewing these amazing reptiles, along with the safety that we provide with our lights and our comfortable boats.
The tour is done at night because this is when crocodiles, and snakes feel the safety to leave their hiding areas, so its an ideal time to observe them. And the main requirement is that it has to be low tide when we do the tour.
Furthermore, the areas of the Mangroves of the Sierpe are full of animal life , so abundant that it's the ideal place to live for those reptiles such as the crocodiles.
During the tour you will be able to see crocodiles of various sizes, ranging from a few centimeters up to 3 meters long. All in there natural environment, you can almost touch them without any danger. The method we use for approaching them is with the flashlight, which leaves them immobile, allowing us to approach very close, and of course while at the same time taking precautions as advised by the professional guide.
During this tour the highlights of the habitat will be explained to you in your own language by the guide, as well as customs and other important aspects, so you can enjoy to the maximum the crocodile tour. The tour on the river Sierpe lasts 2 hours, of enjoying quiet waters and observing plants and animals such as; crocodiles, snakes, birds, and many more. We recommend that you bring: sandals, insect repellent, comfortable clothes, camera and flash light.
